Walkthrough

• After talking with Miss Cogita in the Ancient Retreat, it is time to head off to catch the 3 Pokemon of the Lake: Mesprit Azelf, Uxie.
• To catch Mesprit, you will want to head out to the Obsidian Fieldlands to travel on out to Lake Verity.
• Once there, head inside the cave in the middle.
• Just inside, you will find Mesprit.
• While it will start moving away, it is aggravated, so it cannot be caught with a simple backstrike.
• But this does mean you can start the battle with a backstrike, stunning it briefly.
• Mesprit Lv 70
  • Recover, Extrasensory, Mystic Power, Swift.
• This one LOVES to use Recover, so hitting it with a status like Paralyze, Frostbite, or Drowzy can help a lot.
  • Alternatively, you can stun it with Balls of Mud or Spoiled Apricorns, it takes 5 to stun Mesprit for a few precious seconds.
• You can use this to quickly get a backstrike ball throw to potentially catch them without fighting.
