Walkthrough

• Start this request from the Blackboard from Professor Laventon.
• He explains that a strange Pokemon was seen making their way along the currents, leading toward the Cobalt Coastlands.
• He has called in Warden Iscan from the Diamond Clan for what he might know about.
• He mentions that the book: "The Sea's Legend" holds the key to finding this mysterious Pokemon.
• The problem is no one in Hisui knows much this book!
• The solution is found in Pokemon: Brilliant Diamon/Shining Pearl (or in this guide!)
• The gain access to this mysterious Pokemon you will need to have the following Pokemon in your party.
  • Buizel
  • Mantyke
  • Overqwil
• Buizel are easily found both in Obsidian Fieldlands and the Cobalt Coastlands.
• Mantyke is found in the Cobalt Coastlands
• Qwilfish around found around Cobalt Coastlands in Tranquility Cove, Lunker's Lair, or Islespy Shore.
• Catch one then get into pletny of random encounters to use Barb Barrage the appropriate amount of times.
• Once the requirements are done, head out to Coastlands Camp, or the finger formation found along the Eastern portion of Cobalt Coastlands, Sand's Reach.
• Rest until Evening using the bed.
• When you make it to evening, head out onto the water and go for the stone pillars shaped like horns nearby Sand's Reach.
• If everything is set-up properly, with the time of day and the appropriate Pokemon in your Party, you will get a dialogue box with a Pokemon Sound and another saying that a boulder has moved.
• Head to the Northwest to make your way to Seagrass Haven.
• To the Southwest of that you will find the, now accessible, Seaside Hollow.
• Inside the Seaside Hollow you will encounter: Manaphy and 3 Phione.
• The best approach is to take on each of the Pokemon individually.
• All of them have a protective barrier that needs to be hit with a thrown object before you can either fight or attempt to catch them.
• Move away from them to lure them away from each other and make it easier to fight them individually.
• You can catch all of them with careful consideration.
• After that, leave the hollow, returning to the Sea.
• Travel back to either camp and visit Professor Laventon.
• He will have gotten his hands on the tome only when you've completed the request.
