Walkthrough
Go to the marked area in the Battlefield and use your witcher senses to search and examine bodies with Temerian Shields near them.
Some will not be him. The body you are looking for is on the southwest side of the perimeter. See screenshot of mini-map below to help you locate it.
Once you locate it, Dune will say " I, uh.. Bastien was big, broad-shouldered. This one seems smaller. But maybe it's the fire did that? He found him! Hussar's caught his scent! Come on!" and Hussar will start to track the scent.
