Walkthrough[edit]

Once inside the palace that Arno has been directed to, head to the left. You will find a room with a pair of bandits. You can easily distract both of them with a cherry bomb. This can let you slip through unnoticed. Continue to the East after that room.

In the next room you will find a trio to deal with. use Eagle Pulse to quickly find the locations of all the bandits. Use that info to quickly cut your way through the trio. Turn to the East after that

As you continue down the hall, you will encounter another trio. Try to use Stealth to sneak on through or start eliminating them. Be careful, as getting into a fight with them will call in a fourth bandit that is nearby.

As you continue along to the East, something will happen. Arno will start to remember the last time he was here ... when he stole into Elise's induction into the Templar Order. Follow her through the next room. take a little time to sneak into the next room following the apparition. You will find there are more Bandits about the place. Take a little time to clear them out. After that, turn to the West and head out through the open doorway there. Go into the room on the left. You will find another memory surfacing in Arno's mind.

After that scene, head to the South. You will find the balcony is still there. Look down before you drop though. There are 2 bandits you need to concern yourself with there. You can either pick them off from the balcony using Phantom blades or move along the wall and then take one out with an aerial assassination follow by a quick assassination on the one leaning against the statue. Head inside the building after that.

Start for the door to the West. Use Eagle Vision to spy on the enemies inside the next room. There are 3 bandits inside here. One is just looking out the window. The other two move around, patrolling the area. Watch what they do. If you take cover at the nearest corner you can get a corner assassination on one of the patrolling guards. After that, you will want to watch the other patrolling bandit. When he ducks behind the nearby bar, or is investigating it, get behind him and kill him. Take out the final bandit after that. This sets things up so you will have a much easier time when you get to the leader here. Leave the room to the Northeast and then follow the corridor to the North.

In the next room you have another patrolling bandit. Just watch for an opportunity when he is by the window in the Northeastern corner or on his way there. Take him down in that time frame. Now head to the West. To the left of the door, between the wall and the piano is another bandit. Move in quickly and take this foe out. Head into the nearby corridor to the West. Another memory will surface. Just keep moving while it plays out. Continue until you find the way to the plaza to the South of that scene. Slip over to the doorway from either side of it. Use Eagle Vision to find your target. Head out toward the plaza now. Take some cover by the doorway leading directly into the plaza.
