Walkthrough[edit]
- It is time to find and kill Troy Calypso.
- Troy has a few attacks that you will need to deal with.
- He will mostly attack with energy balls that a circular pattern that spreads out from him.
- He can attack either horizontally or vertically with this attack.
- Later in the fight, these Horizontal attacks can either be high or low, requiring the Vault Hunter to jump or crouch.
- Troy can easily take flight and use a lunge attack to do heavy damage to anyone below him.
- After the lunge, he can spiral upwards in a pillar of flame.
- He can also attack with a Torgue Handgun.
- Throughout the area, you will find Frail Rokks flying above.
- Take these down when you need a second wind.
- Troy can summon in powerful waves of Eridium energy when he is standing in the middle of the arena.
- You can avoid the waves by going toward or into the entrance of this arena.
- When you reduce Troy by 1/3 of his health, he will summon a shield to protect himself.
- After a while, this shield will break and the fight will resume.
- He will start to use more of a combination of attacks, or combine his energy ball attacks.
- Troy can then shield and start hovering over Tyreen.
- A large sphere of energy will appear in the middle of the area.
- There are 4 mirrors directing energy into the middle sphere.
- Shoot each of these mirrors to break the shield and force the fight to continue.
- Be wary of pillars of flame that appear in the area.
- In the surrounding area, you will encounter Noviciates, a variant of Sappers.
- These will only appear when summoned by Troy during the massive energy ball phase.
- Take your time with the fight, dodge the incoming attacks and energy waves.
- Use the Rokks or Noviciates when a second wind is needed.
