“Reforging the blade” is a Step in the Quest A Broken Will in Destiny: The Taken King
Walkthrough[edit]
You must collect at least 25 Hadium Flakes from around the Dreadnaught. The Flakes are found inside any lootable chest in the Dreadnaught. Doing this mission concurrently with several others helps.
When you have collect the 25 or more Flakes, head back to the Tower. Go into the Hall of Guardians and talk with Lord Shaxx. There is no prompt that this is available. Just make sure you have everything you need in your inventory.
