Role/Tactics[edit]
This is one of the few Prison of Elders bosses who does not have a shield. While this seems like a boon, you still have shielded foes to deal with, namely Chosen Wizards. These foes have Solar shields that you need to break before you can really hurt them. You will also have to deal with a pair of Orges throughout the battle.
Finally, there are a lot of Thralls to deal with. It is important for someone to watch out for waves of them. They will do a number of ambush runs on your Fireteam.
The Wretched Knight moves slow. This makes it very easy for you to get a number of Headshots on it quickly. The knight will also remain in the center of the Arena for the entire battle.
The Arena offers a lot of protection. Head over to the left and take cover in the area with the stairs. This offers a lot of protection against the foes and gives all Guardians a place to recover.
