The Final Battle is a main story quest in Dragon's Dogma.
In this quest you fight the Dragon, Grigori, at the Tainted Mountain Temple.
The quest starts after you complete Deny Salvation.

The Arisen will finally face and defeat the Great Dragon.
Walkthrough[edit]
- Speak with the Dragonforged
- Go to the Greatwall Encampment
- Enter the Keep
- Follow the passage to arrive at the Tainted Mountain Temple.
- Fight the Geo-Saurians and other enemies you encounter along the way.
- Arrive at a large chamber, and kill the Gorechimera there.
- Stand on the four switches/pressure plates to open the gate.
- You will enter the Dragon's Lair and encounter the Dragon.
- The Dragon will let you choose between a battle to save your beloved, or to sacrifice your beloved to become the sovereign of the land.
- If you choose to battle to save your beloved, you now face the Dragon in a fight.
- In the first fight sequence you will have to run away from the Dragon, through the corridor, until it gets stuck. Target the Dragon's head to create an opening, and then attack the dragon's heart.
- The Dragon escapes, follow it outside.
- Run across the bridge and reach the tower.
- Keep following the path to the next tower.
- Attack the Dragon with the ballista.
- Hang on to the Dragon's tail as it flies away.
- Strike the Dragon to expose it's heart
- After the cutscene, fight and defeat the dragon.
Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]
- In the final Dragon battle sequence, keep aiming towards the heart which is the Dragon's weakness. The balista can also help you shoot the dragon down if the Dragon is out of your attack range.
- If instead of fighting the Dragon you choose to leave and sacrifice your beloved, you get the 'Soltitude' ending and become the Duke.
