Aldous wants you to collect evidence for or against Fournival who is standing trial for corruption crimes.

Objectives[edit]

Collect Evidence

The merchant Fournival stands accused. Prove his guilt or innocence before time runs out.

Gather all the evidence and testimony regarding Fournival you can manage, and report you findings to Aldous in 4 days.

You have four days to collect evidence for and/or against Fournival:

Symone's Petition: From Symone in Fournival's Manor.
Geffrey's Petition: From Father Geffrey in the Cathedral
Fedel's Petition: From Fedel inside the Duke's Demesne, sometimes in the storehouse on the second floor.
Ser Castor: Witness Testimony. Talk to Ser Daerio in Windbluff Tower and he will ask you to escort Ser Castor to Gran Soren so that he can testify for Fournival's innocence at the court.
Soiled Affidavit: Purchase from Reynard, a wandering merchant.
Sweat Stained Affidavit: Purchase from Reynard, a wandering merchant.
Blurred Affidavit: Purchase from Reynard, a wandering merchant.

Jasper's Condemnation: From Jasper in the Craftsman's Quarter.
Pip's Condemnation: From Pip in the Craftsman's Quarter.
Sara's Condemnation: From Sara in the Craftsman's Quarter.
Ansell: Witness Testimony. Escort from Cassardis to Gran Soren so that he can testify against Fournival.
Dirty Affidavit: Purchase from Reynard, a wandering merchant.
Tattered Affidavit: Purchase from Reynard, a wandering merchant.

After you hand over any evidence to Aldous and four days have passed, the court decides whether Fournival is innocent or guilty
If he is found guilty he is executed.
If he is found innocent he goes back to his shop and you will get discounts from him, including access to a special item^[1]: The Magnanimous Cloak
