Your motion tracker in Aliens: Colonial Marines.

The Motion tracker is an equipment in Aliens: Colonial Marines

It is like a radar that lets you see the position of units and alien enemies around you.

In Campaign Mode Aliens appear as blue dots as well so you sometimes don't know if the thing that is moving is an ally or an enemy. In multiplayer Xenos appear as red dots.

While looking at the Motion Tracker you cannot fire so careful when using it

Usage[edit]

Use the Motion Tracker to locate the whereabouts of your allies, enemies and current objective.

Default key on PC is "Q"

The Motion Tracker will continuously scan a 180 cone in front of you. Solid blips represent unknown or hostile moving units while hollow blips represent allied units. Flashing arrows at the bottom of the display warn of movement behind you. A hex icon represents the location of your current objectives.

Tips[edit]

Use your Motion Tracker often when out of combat to track mission specific objectives
