“Defeat Omnigul, the Will of Crota, and her minions.”
“Kill Omnigul” is an objective in the Strike Omnigul Reborn in Destiny: Rise of Iron
Walkthrough[edit]
Head up into the room. The fight itself has changed a lot from the original. Go on out of the entry way into the main room itself. The entry way will be sealed once the fight starts. After that, if you are on the other side, you will be teleported inside the arena.
Omnigul will appear on the walkway in the middle of the room. She will fly around this area, with her Arc Shield, and attack with her Darkness Blasts.
Having done a notable portion of damage, the hatch at the far end of the bridge will open. From there, a stream of Thralls will emerge from there. Deal with them and avoid Omnigul.
A short while later, Omnigul will vanish for a while after a scream. The Fireteam will then need to fight through a large wave of Hive. The first time this will happen is on the far side of the arena. There are a number of Knights and Acolytes.
Omnigul will appear in the middle again after you have cleared most of the Hive. Once again, you will find after you have done some damage to her, more Thralls will appear from the far side of the walkway again. Keep fighting her and then she will vanish again.
On the close side, you will find more Hive. This will have a number of Orges, Knight and no shortage of Acolytes. be wary about heading down into the lower portion of the arena. There is a spreading Curse on the ground. Clear away the enemies and Omnigul will reappear to clear away the cursed ground.
Omnigul will appear once again on the middle walkway. This will repeat much like what has happened with the other times. She will attack and continue to do so until more Thralls are called in. This time though, Cursed Thralls are involved. Be especially careful of these to avoid dying.
With 25% or less of her health remaining, more Hive will be called you. Expect Thralls and Acolytes to be rushing your position. They are quickly followed by more Knights as well. Both sides will be flooded by Hive.
Omnigul will stay this time until her death. The problem is all the Hive that are coming in. At least one Guardian should stay focused on Omnigul while the others do damage to Omnigul while running Crowd Control.
