On October 23, 2077, he was playing some ball on the street when the sirens sounded.

He dropped his baseball glove and ran to Vault 111 with his parents to try and enter the Vault

Unfortunately, his parents were not responsible enough to register with Vault-Tec, and the kid and his family were denied entry.

Fate

Died from the nuclear radiation.
