Breath of the Wild: Mining

Link mining some ore deposits in LoZ:BotW.

You can mine certain ore deposits and rock formations in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Equipment needed

Use a tool heavy weapon that's meant for mining, such as a Iron Sledgehammer

How to mine

• Strike at the ore deposits with your mining tool/weapon
• Use a Remote Bomb
  • Be sure to be at a safe distance when you detonate.

Obtainable items

The following is a list of resources you can get through mining:

• Amber
• Sapphire
• Topaz
• Flint

Strategy Guide/Tips

• You can find an Iron Sledgehanner early in the game at the Owa Daim Shrine. You can use this hammer for mining.
