Walkthrough
Welcome to the final area of the game. If you can make it to the Shore, you will find the King who awaits you. This always stands alone from any other run you make. No carry over, and no Second Chance.
Go around the passage to collect what you can. These are some of the final available logs until the post game. To progress forward, you will need to go visit Constant. Talking with it, you will be reminded it was a lock. This lock kept Arjun from reaching the Shore itself. Interact with the terminal in front of Constant to release the lock.
Once the lock is broken, head down the stairs to the room with Primary. To the left of Primary you can see a new passage has opened. Approach and pass through the yellow veil.
This will bring you to the entryway of the Yellow Shore. Start by heading up the stairs and into the temple in front of you. Head inside and go all the way to the back. You will find a crack that appears in the wall in front of the throne. Align Arjun with the crack and punch it to shattered the barrier and pass beyond it.
Just as you begin this area, a new permanent upgrades is granted: The Blazing Strike.

The Blazing Strike allows Arjun to finally break any Yellow Barrier found on Carcosa. It also gives him a finishing move when enemies are low on health. Watch them and you will see a prompt for R1. Hit it and Arjun will teleport rush to that Enemy to defeat them in a mighty final blow. This can send you into the abyss below, but sometimes its just worth it. However, this is disabled if the enemy is Staggered.
Both Yellow Containers and Barriers (even those around enemies) can be destroyed with a punch. Breaking the Yellow Barrier around an enemy will stun the caster.
While there are a lot of random elements throughout this area, there are still some that can be found that are predictable. Enemies can now simply drop Halcyon. While there's plenty to be found by running previously cleared areas, this can be a way to farm it.

Getting to the end of this area, you will need to pass through two gates. Each of these presents a combat challenge as you approach. Once that's cleared, you cannot simply punch your way through the barrier. You will need to head to either of the optional paths that are adjacent to here and run through them.
It’s the second gate that is generally of greater concern. Here, you can encounter the Consort. This is a big challenge to win with all the enemies around on top of the Consort. Still, the Consort can trigger the Blazing Strike from Arjun. Keep an eye out for it because it will take out 1/4 of her health instantly. Defeat clear and clear the encounter to drop the barrier.
Once you are through the second Gate, you will find a few set items. You will always find a Container, an Aether, and some Lucenite. Collect what you want of it. All you need to do is ride the Eclipse Thread now.
At the bottom of the Thread, you are deposited above the Shore itself. You will want to head to the ledge ahead and drop off it. Now, all Arjun has to do is run toward the Throne in the Water.
Approaching the Throne will trigger the final boss: The King
Boss - The King

It's time to take on the King of the Yellow Shore. He (It/They?) sit on the Golden Throne and holds Nitya just beyond it.
Phase 1

As the battle starts, this is your reminder there is no Second Chance. You will need to be at the top of your game. Now, let's get started.
The First Phase of the fight is the "easy" one, but you need to learn fast. He has a number of attacks, but will also Shield himself. While Shielded, he is impervious to damage.
Attacks:
- Many Tendriled sunburst of Energy, that will be launched and seek to Arjun. Fire up to 3 times consecutively.
- King shields just before firing 3 rings of (red) energy, in escalating heights. Followed by a tall ring burst of Energy
- Consecutively launching rings of Energy at a variety of angles from around himself. This ends with a sphere burst of Energy from the King.
- Spiral Beam of Energy from King's Chest with modest seeking
- Makes upward gesture with arms, small upward burst of energy from just below the King's feet.
- Fires bolts of Energy that spiral then become hovering spheres. If left alone for a few seconds, will erupt into a ring of energy and Energy.
- Fires arcing Vertical line of Energy (fires up to 3 times).
- Creates Ring of Energy around King, these fire a few at a time, seeking Arjun.

The Second Phase steps the difficulty up. Not only are you dealing with Nova and Energy, but the King is taking a more direct role now. When you see the King draw his fist back, focus on it for a moment. Wait for a quick spark (or listen for the end of the charge-up sound) and Dodge. Too soon or too late and the King will connect.
When this phase starts, immediately Shield. The King ALWAYS begins with a burst of Energy. Multiple rings of Energy come from him at different Heights as well as a spherical burst from his core.
The sunburst attack continues, this time though, it's Nova energy. So it's very important to dodge out of the way with a last second dash or Parry it. Parrying is recommended for the extra damage. It's more important to do what is best for you: Dodge or Parry.
Be sure to watch the King if he flies to the center of the arena. He will unleash a blast of Nova along the ceiling of the Arena.
The King frequently will be teleporting in this phase. It will continue throughout the rest of the fight. Arjun needs to stay on his toes here.

The King has been Shielding throughout the encounter, but starting in this round, it's VERY important to quickly crack that Shield. Especially if you see walls of Nova come up around him. Quickly break the Shield because the King will start healing! This going to be in his rotation of attacks for the rest of the fight.
Attacks:
- A small whirring charge sound is heard before the King lunges toward Arjun, slamming his fist into the ground, doing heavy damage.
- There is an alternate version of the fist slam, where when the King's fist hits the ground, a spherical burst of Nova erupts. This is alongside arcing tendrils of Nova.
- A burst of Nova with a number of layered tendrils of arcing Nova come from the King. Additionally, there are a number of Nova spheres around the King, bouncing up and down. These Spheres can become homing shots that go after Arjun.
- The above attack can be a ground-level ring of Energy launch from the King and travel all across the Arena. The water can make this very hard to see.
- King shields just before firing 3 rings of (red) energy, in escalating heights. Followed by a tall ring burst of Nova.
- Many Tendriled sunburst of Nova, that will be launched and seek to Arjun.
- Simultaneously launching rings of Nova at a variety of angles from around himself. This ends with a sphere burst of Nova from the King.
- Circles of Nova launched into the sky of the arena. These will slowly drift down.
- Prolonged burst of Nova, a single layer of starburst (arcing) tendrils along the water's surface.
- Beams of energy fire from the King's hands. This charges powerful beam in his chest. When launched, it also fires narrow bands of Energy that spread.
- Creates massive walls of Nova. The King fires a wave of Nova energy along the water's surface.
- Creates and fires lance-shaped bursts of Nova. It fires in various arrays towards Arjun.
- Fires bolts of Corruption that spiral then become hovering spheres. If left alone for a few seconds, will erupt into a ring of energy and Corruption.
- Fires a large broadening cone of Corruption, it lances toward where Arjun was at its formation.

The third and final phase brings everything together. There are a lot of changes. Most of the attacks remain the same but, instead of Nova or Energy, using Corruption.
Attacks:
- Many Tendriled sunburst of Corruption, that will be launched and seek to Arjun.
- Consecutively launching rings of Corruption, at a variety of angles from around himself. This ends with a sphere burst of Energy from the King.
- Fires arcing Vertical line of Corruption (fires up to 3 times)
- Charges fist slam, but now erupts into rings of red energy that arc out from the King.
- Creates a line of downward firing beams. These start far from Arjun and sweep across the arena toward him to spin briefly around the King.
- King forms Shield around self, which is surrounded by 2 Vertical layers of Corruption. After a short time stationary the walls will start spinning quickly. The king will start healing if under the Shield.

Beyond the King

With the King defeated, an automatic cutscene runs. You will see a hallway has opened along the back of the arena. Approach and interact with it to move forward. This will trigger the "bad" ending.
Fear not, there's a way to get the "good" ending, often regarded as the True Ending with the next Cycle.
