January 11: Increased chance of finding rare shotguns
January 12: Increased chance of finding rare grenade mods
January 13: Increased chance of finding rare sniper rifles
January 14: Increased chance of Vermivorous the Invincible dropping a Norfleet
How to Start the Gear-Up Weekend[edit]
Boot Up Borderlands 2 while connected to the internet. You will download a small patch.

Legendary Norfleet Day[edit]
Farm Vermivorous who as of January 14 until the event ends, has an increased chance of dropping the Norfleet
