The pressure gauge in Metro: Last Light

The gauge that resides on the top or sides of Pneumatic weapons in Metro: Last Light.

This gauge is designed to tell Artyom how much pressure is left in his weapons, and how much damage they'll do when they fire.

Reading the Pressure Gauge[edit]

The pressure gauge is simple to read.

If the needle is pointing into the yellow section of the gauge, there is not enough pressure in the gun and Artyom needs to pump the weapon.

If the needle is pointing into the green section of the gauge, the pressure is fine and Artyom does not have to worry about pumping.

If the needle is pointing into the red section of the gauge, Artyom has pumped the gun too much and there is too much pressure. This can result in a misfire.
