Walkthrough
- Go to Ald'ruhn.
- Talk to Seryn on the road leading to Ald'ruhn. Her location should be marked on the map.
- Go to the Red Exiles Camp, a little to the northwest of where Seryn is. It's a small camp with a handful of tents.
- One of the tents (a big white tent found on elevated terrain) has a table with a note on it, "Meeting with Chodala".
- Read "Meeting with Chodala"
- Return back to Seryn.
- You may get ambushed by some Ashlander enemies on the way.
- Talk to Seryn to complete the objective.
- She gives you Chodala's Writings.

Objective Hints
- That Ashlander warned me about a tribe known as the Red Exiles. I should talk to her as she seems like a good place to start my investigation of Ald'ruhn.
- Talk to Seryn
- Seryn asked me to enter the Red Exile camp and look for her brother, Chodala, or at least find out where he may have gone.
- Find Seryn's brother
- I found a scroll containing information about what Chodala was doing in the Red Exiles camp and where he may have gone. I should return to Seryn and tell her what I discovered.
- Talk to Seryn
Strategy Guide/Tips
- Out of the three main objectives for the quest, investigating Ald'ruhn takes the shortest time to complete (compared to Investigating Barilzar's Tower and Investigating Balmora)
Quotes
