Wraith can stick the stinger on the ground, hide in a corner, and then detonate Stinger on unsuspecting enemies that pass near it, thus using it as an ambush tool.

This is a tutorial on how to properly use Wraith in LawBreakers.

This Wraith guide is based on the dev tutorial video.

Role[edit]

Wraith is kind of a a hybrid class. He sits comfortably in between gunners and assassins. He's got the high mobility, and he's got the CQC effectiveness, but he's also got access to some range hits that can balance him out. So if you've played Assassin, you've played Enforcer, he's probably in between there.

Weapons[edit]

Spektor auto-pistol: Accurate when you feather the trigger, massive spread on full auto.

  • From up close, it's very effective on full auto
  • From range, you will want to feather the trigger and handle to kick to try and maintain accuracy.

Wasp short sword: Works in combo with your Spektor. You want to get the enemies low on health with your pistol, then hit them with your melee attack to burst them down. If the crosshairs blink red as you get closer to the target, it means your melee attack will kill it.

Using the Power slide to get in close to enemies and burst them down with the damage from the slide into Knife combo is never a bad option.

Mobility[edit]

Your shift is a knee slide that combos with your spacebar which is a flip jump and your passive ability which is the wall jump.

The main thing you're going to want to do is to knee slide into flip-jump (so shift and then space)

Flip jump is an air jump that you can do that refreshes immediately all three jumps as soon as you hit the ground. So this character is pretty much going to be in the air all the time, kind of a nuisance, difficult to hit and that's his MO. You can bounce around the map, use walls, take routes enemies did not expect you to take, ambush with CQC gameplay.

You can shift in for a bit of damage and knockback to the enemy.

Always use wall hops and the triple jump to confused enemies and disrupt aim patterns, especially in tight spaces. The Wraith can use these tools to outplay many opponents with his mobility and Knife attack.

Keep in mind that Stabbing with your knife (right-click) will give you a small boost. Use this as a pseudo dash in the direction you are aiming for even more mobility, especially in the air where the Wraith is generally vulnerable.

Wraith is at an advantage when grounded, as his slide can obviously only be used there. Minimize your time out the open, and use the Blindfire (Ctrl by default) to augment momentum in the air.

Stinger ability[edit]

The short sword can fire its blade out and stick into stuff and then you can shoot it to blow it up.

Can be used as an ambush tool. Pop the blade down on the ground and hide in the corner, and shoot it if an enemy passes near it.

If you shoot it out it will auto-detonate after a duration so you can throw it onto an objective or into the battery room to try and flush enemies aout because if they stand around they're just going to eat that damage.

The enemies can detonate the Stinger themsleves, but if they're too close they will take splash damage.

The Stinger is also good as an anti-tank tool, by sticking it into people. Some initial damage on hit, then shoot it to blow it up inside the enemy for massive burst damage.

Because it's a projectile, it will be hard to hit high mobility enemies with it, but Titans and Juggernauts will be prime targets for this thing.

The explosion actually has a deceptively large splash-damage range, use this to your advantage when fighting multiple enemies or when skirmishing on the objective.

Ultimate Chrono Switch[edit]

Chrono Switch is an AoE cc slow time ability. So you're going to throw out these slow time waves, and anyone hit by those waves will be slowed, movement speed slowed, fire rate slower.

This ability takes some getting used to, as it is a somewhat slow projectile speed which can cause it to miss some enemies you thought it hit.

Don't be afraid to pop this ability in a large and clustered team-fight, your enemies won't know what hit them, allowing you and your team to swoop in and take initiative during their vulnerable state.

Can hit multiple enemies.

Strategy Guide/Tips[edit]

  • Pay attention to crosshairs in Lawbreakers. They reveal a lot of info.
    • If the crosshairs aren't blinking red as you approach the target, it means your melee attack won't finish it and maybe you shouldn't take the risk.
  • Use your combo: spray a bit with your gun, then get up close to finish in melee.
  • Use short range dash as gap closer.
  • Enemy on your ass? You can blindfire while sliding.
  • Boom! Teammates can shoot to explode the stinger too.
  • Slow poke! While enemies are in an incapacitated state, inflict damage while moving to a strategic position.
